“Are You in God’s Supply Chain?”

2 Corinthians 9:10-12 Good News Translation (GNT)

10 And God, who supplies seed for the farmer and bread to eat, will also supply you with all the seed you need and will make it grow and produce a rich harvest from your generosity. 11 He will always make you rich enough to be generous at all times, so that many will thank God for your gifts which they receive from us. 12 For this service you perform not only meets the needs of God’s people, but also produces an outpouring of gratitude to God.

Participation in the stock market is an optional exercise.  Many who have chosen to play the market have been rewarded with great wealth while others have suffered great loss.  The stock market is essentially a supply chain consisting of a founder, investors, a product and profit.  If you invest in the company and the company generates a profit, then you receive a profit as well.  If the company doesn’t do well, there is no profit and investors are not rewarded.  God’s supply chain never fails to produce.  The Word says, “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest … shall not cease”. (Genesis 8: 22)  This supply chain established by God himself will always produce a harvest.  The question you and I must ask is this – “am I an investor in the Kingdom supply chain?”  If you’re not an investor, consider the benefits and reconsider your position:

  1. God Supplies
  2. God Increases what He supplies
  3. God Perpetuates the Supply Chain through Thanksgiving

“…God supplies seed for the farmer and bread to eat.”  If the farmer chooses to invest his seed, “God…will make it grow and produce a rich harvest from your generosity.  He will always make you rich…”.  When we take the multiplied increase from God’s harvest and sow it back into the Kingdom; to God first, to our needs second and finally to the needs of others as directed by God, the recipients of our generosity respond with thanksgiving to God.  As God receives the offering of gratitude from many, He once again pours out seed to the farmer.

So, if you’re not in God’s Supply Chain…if you have not yet turned your finances over to God…do it today. He wants to make you rich enough to be generous.
